DESCRIPTION:Suicide Prevention Workshops \n\n\n\nSuicide is a difficult topic to talk about\, and its impact on families and communities can be devastating. In rural areas\, families often face additional challenges\, including limited access to resources\, without travelling to urban centres. Learning how to talk about suicide and recognize warning signs can help families and community members take meaningful steps toward support and prevention. \n\n\n\nThe Foundation @ Nove’s Place is pleased to offer suicide prevention workshops for Arcadia and the surrounding area. Thanks to generous grants from the Capital Region Service Commission and the Capital Region Resiliency Network\, we will be hosting several LivingWorks safeTALK suicide prevention workshops throughout the year at no cost to participants. \n\n\n\nThe first sessions will take place on January 20th and 21st\, with 15 spots available per workshop. A waitlist will also be available should the sessions fill. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in participating\, please click on the link or scan the QR code (on the graphic) with your camera and fill out the sign-up sheet. \n\n\n\n\n\nWe invite you to join us in building awareness\, confidence\, and connection within our community.
